INTERVIEWEmployee Interview

  • Ryoto Katsube / Sales Department (Joined in 2023)

    Q. What was your motivation for joining the company?
There were two main reasons. First, I wanted to challenge myself with international sales in addition to domestic sales. I was drawn to the environment where I can propose our products to the world through overseas business trips about three times a year for market research, exhibitions, and visiting existing clients.
Second, the company is of a moderate size with a young average age and close proximity between departments. The flat and collaborative organizational structure makes it very smooth to advance new proposal activities, which was a major deciding factor for me.
    Q. What do you find rewarding about your job?
Conducting sales activities aimed at the global market is the most rewarding part. Leveraging our integrated system from in-house development to manufacturing and sales as our greatest strength, we make multi-faceted proposals to solve customers' challenges across different departments.
In our core OEM supply business, we pursue the value of products through preliminary testing. I feel a massive sense of accomplishment when our team's proposal is adopted and the client recognizes its value.
    Q. What challenges do you face in your work?
Since we have many in-house developed products, it can be challenging to present data in an easy-to-understand manner tailored to each client's industry and application. However, by collaborating closely with our nearby R&D department to solve issues, I gain deeper knowledge from a different perspective and expand my range of proposals, which makes me feel my own growth.
    Q. What are your dreams and goals?
I believe that neither domestic nor international sales is a job that can be completed alone; it is a job that progresses through collaboration with various departments within the company. Therefore, my goal is to work with others to generate achievements for the entire company and become a leader who can guide the team facing in the same direction.
